HERBAL REMEDIES

Herbs had been used in ancient world as an incomparable cure foe various ailment and can still apply in our days. There are thousands of remedies one can derived from herbs. Herbs can also be combined to get another effect which could be more beneficial depending on the kinds of herbs and the ailment being treated. The following are some of the effective herbal remedies being used today:
GARLIC - Garlic is an antibiotic with anti-viral properties. It treats cholesterol, pile and prevents blood clots that cause heart attack. It could be used as seasoning for meat, fish and food in general. For tea, steep 6 cloves in a cup of cool water for 6 hours.
GINSENG - This stimulates the immune system and protects the liver from toxins and. It also aids the glowing of the skin.
BITTER LEAVE – It cleanses the blood and allows for easy flow of blood. It also helps in detoxification process. Take half a glass cup per day.
GINGER - prevents motion sickness and internal blood clots that cause heart attack. Make into juice and drinks on daily basis. 2 teaspoons powdered or grated root can be added to tea To treat motion sickness, take 2 to 3 capsules of 500 mg 30 minutes before departure.
GOLDENSEAL - This contains antibiotic. To prepare tea, ½ to 1 teaspoon powdered root per cup. Steeped for 10 minutes. Drink up to 2 cups per day.
RASPBERRY LEAF. - This is for treating morning sickness, uterine irritability and prevents threatened miscarriage due to pregnancy. For tea, 1 to 2 teaspoons per cup, steeped for 10 minutes and drink up to 3 cups per day.
PEPPERMINT - This is for indigestion and aids in relaxation. To make tea for indigestion, 1 teaspoon fresh or 2 teaspoons dried per cup. Steep for 10 minutes. Take up to 3 cups per day. For bath, fill cloth bag with dried or fresh leaves and run water over it.
